Dr. Mohammad Zare of RSS-Hydro has just been awarded a 2-year industrial fellowship by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), in collaboration with the University of Luxembourg and various partners, to improve prediction of flash floods in Luxembourg within an innovative decision support system.

Research Mission of RED

As a research institute, the Research and Education Department (RED) of RSS-Hydro works with and trains graduate students, PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in individual fields, and encourages researchers from different disciplines and institutions to work together to advance the scientific fields of flood hydrology and find sustainable solutions to address society’s needs.

RSS-Hydro's RED is involved in numerous international research collaborations and integrates practical and academic experience, so that we can work on applied science projects in partnership with business, government and community sectors.
